American Legion George G Luckey Post 57 Tenderloin Dinner, Thursday, April 27
27On Thursday, April 27, from 5 – 7 PM the Legion will host a TenderloiinDinner for $15.00 per person. The meal includes a tenderloin sandwich, French Fries, Cole Slaw and a Dessert.

Vinton Public Library's May Schedule of Activities
Please check out the May 2023 Programming Calendar for the library below. In addition to our regularly scheduled programming, you’ll notice that we’re hosting a mobile museum this month. This is a project made available to us through the State Historical Museum of Iowa. We will be hosting a 5-week brown bag lunch series on mental health available to us through NAMI, the National Alliance on Mental Illness.
Benton County Bacon Buddies seeking Youth Mentors and Partiicipants
Benton County Bacon Buddies® at the 2023 Benton County Fair!Bacon Buddies® gives individuals who have intellectual and/or developmental disabilities (Buddies) the opportunity to take a pig into the show ring. Bake Sale Fundraiser for Adult Prom, Sunday April 16
There will be a bake sale on Sunday, April 16th from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Casey's parking lot located at 1112 West 4th St. in Vinton.Items that will be available include: Brownies, Cookies, Muffins, fresh popcorn, Texas Sheet Cake and much more!Funds will be used to sponsor the Adult Prom Masquerade Ball that will be held on Satuday, May 19th.

The Shellsburg American Legion Annual Spring Fish Fry will be held on Friday, April 28 from 5:00 - 8:00 pm.
